Founded in 2025 by former PharmEasy executives, Chapter Homes is building a portfolio of consumer brands focused on the home and kitchen segment. The company currently operates HOKIPO, a home furnishing brand, and plans to broaden its presence across additional product categories as it builds its consumer business.

The startup aims to tap into the growing demand for home improvement, furnishing, and lifestyle products in India. With consumers increasingly exploring products that combine functionality, design and convenience, the home and kitchen category presents opportunities for brands that can build differentiated offerings and establish strong distribution networks.

Chapter Homes plans to deploy the funding towards expanding its range of products and strengthening its technology infrastructure. Investment in brand building will also be a priority, helping the company increase consumer awareness, establish a distinct market position, and develop stronger relationships with customers.

Another key focus area will be the expansion of its omnichannel distribution network. By strengthening its presence across digital platforms and offline retail channels, Chapter Homes aims to reach a broader customer base and make its products more accessible to consumers across markets.

The participation of institutional investors, including Bessemer Venture Partners and Stride Ventures, alongside Tanmay Bhat and family offices, provides the company with additional financial backing as it pursues its growth strategy.

India’s home and kitchen market has attracted growing interest from consumer-focused businesses seeking to build specialised brands for evolving household needs. Companies are increasingly combining digital-first customer acquisition with wider distribution strategies to establish a stronger presence in competitive consumer categories.

For Chapter Homes, the latest funding round marks an important step towards developing a broader portfolio of home and kitchen brands. Its ability to expand product categories, build brand recognition and execute its omnichannel strategy will be central to its next phase of growth.

As the company scales beyond its existing HOKIPO business, the focus will be on building a sustainable consumer brand platform capable of serving changing preferences among Indian households.
