The latest funding will support CureBay’s expansion across India as the company looks to strengthen its healthcare delivery network and improve access to quality healthcare in underserved and rural communities. Founded in 2021 by Priyadarshi Mohapatra, Shobhan Mahapatra and Sanjay Swain, CureBay is focused on bridging gaps in rural healthcare access through a technology-enabled care delivery model. Its platform combines physical healthcare facilities with digital capabilities to connect patients in underserved regions with essential medical services.

The company currently operates more than 250 technology-enabled clinics across seven states in India. Since its inception, CureBay has served over 17 lakh patients, highlighting the growing demand for accessible and affordable healthcare solutions beyond major urban centres. The company also conducts more than 400 health camps every month, extending its reach into communities where access to medical facilities and healthcare professionals can be limited.

With the new capital, CureBay plans to expand its geographic footprint and reinforce its healthcare delivery infrastructure. Strengthening its technology and AI capabilities is another key priority, with the company looking to develop tools that can support early patient screening and assist clinical decision-making. These capabilities could help improve the efficiency of healthcare delivery and support more timely identification of patients requiring medical attention.

The funding comes as technology-enabled healthcare models gain importance in addressing India’s rural healthcare challenges. Limited access to medical professionals, long travel distances and gaps in healthcare infrastructure continue to affect communities outside major cities. Platforms combining physical clinics, digital technology and assisted healthcare services are emerging as potential solutions to these challenges.

As the company scales its operations, its ability to combine technology, healthcare infrastructure and patient-focused services will be central to its efforts to make quality healthcare more accessible across rural and underserved regions.
