BIDSO Raises ₹63 Crore to Scale Design-Led Manufacturing Platform
Design-led manufacturing startup BIDSO has raised ₹63 crore ($6.7 million) in its Series A funding round, led by Blume Ventures. The round also saw participation from Peer Capital and Sadev Capital, along with venture debt support from Alteria Capital.
Founded in 2022 by Vivek Singhal, Aditya Krishnakumar, and Rahul Agarwal, BIDSO is building a design-first manufacturing ecosystem that bridges the gap between product innovation and scalable production. The company focuses on enabling brands to create differentiated products by combining strong design capabilities with efficient manufacturing processes.

In a relatively short span, BIDSO has demonstrated impressive growth, more than doubling its revenue over the past year. This momentum has been driven by its global B2B partnerships and licensed intellectual properties (IPs), which allow the company to offer unique and high-quality products across markets.
BIDSO’s platform-centric approach is designed to simplify the complexities of manufacturing by integrating product design, sourcing, and production into a streamlined workflow. This not only reduces time-to-market for brands but also ensures consistency in quality and innovation—two critical factors in today’s competitive consumer landscape.

The fresh capital will be deployed to scale manufacturing capabilities, enabling the company to handle larger volumes while maintaining design integrity. BIDSO also plans to invest in enhancing its product design capabilities, further strengthening its positioning as a design-led platform rather than a traditional manufacturing service provider.
Additionally, the startup is looking to expand into adjacent consumer categories, leveraging its existing infrastructure and expertise. This diversification strategy will allow BIDSO to tap into new market opportunities while maximizing the value of its design and production ecosystem.
India’s manufacturing sector is transforming, driven by increasing demand for high-quality, design-focused products and the global shift towards diversified supply chains. Platforms like BIDSO are playing a crucial role in this evolution by enabling brands to innovate faster and manufacture more efficiently.

With strong investor backing and a clear focus on integrating design with manufacturing, BIDSO is well-positioned to become a key enabler in India’s next-generation manufacturing ecosystem. Its emphasis on creativity, scalability, and global partnerships sets it apart in a space traditionally dominated by cost-driven models.
As the company continues to grow, BIDSO aims to redefine how products are conceptualized and produced, making design-led manufacturing more accessible and scalable for brands worldwide.
