Kidbea Raises ₹30 Crore to Expand Sustainable Baby Care Brand Across India

Noida-based D2C startup Kidbea has secured ₹30 crore ($3.2 million) in its Series A funding round, led by ENRISSION INDIA CAPITAL INC., with participation from Inflection Point Ventures, LetsVenture, and other investors. The funding marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey to build a sustainable and accessible baby care ecosystem in India.

Founded in 2021 by Swapnil Srivastav, Mohammad Hussain, Aman Kumar Mahto, and Ankita Rani, Kidbea focuses on offering bamboo-based apparel and childcare products designed specifically for infants and toddlers. The brand has positioned itself at the intersection of comfort, safety, and sustainability, addressing growing concerns among modern parents around skin-friendly and eco-conscious products.

Bamboo fabric, known for its softness, breathability, and antibacterial properties, has emerged as a preferred choice in baby care, especially for sensitive skin. Kidbea leverages this material to create products that not only ensure comfort but also align with environmentally responsible practices.

The startup has already demonstrated strong market traction, achieving an impressive annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹100 crore within a short span of time. This growth highlights the rising demand for premium, sustainable baby products in India’s rapidly evolving D2C landscape.

With the fresh capital infusion, Kidbea plans to significantly expand its offline presence. The company aims to launch 100+ exclusive brand outlets and partner with 200+ multi-brand retail stores over the next 12 to 24 months. This move signals a strategic shift from a predominantly online-first model to a more omnichannel approach, enabling deeper market penetration and stronger brand visibility.

In addition to retail expansion, the startup is expected to invest in product innovation, supply chain strengthening, and brand building initiatives to further solidify its position in the market.

India’s baby care segment is witnessing rapid growth, driven by increasing awareness of product quality, safety standards, and sustainability. Parents today are more informed and willing to invest in products that ensure the well-being of their children while minimizing environmental impact.
