Arivihan Raises $10 Million Series A to Accelerate AI-Powered Vernacular Learning

AI-powered edtech startup Arivihan has raised $10 million in a Series A funding round, co-led by existing investors Accel and Prosus Ventures. The latest investment brings the company’s total funding to more than $15 million, providing fresh capital to accelerate expansion and strengthen its technology-led learning platform.

Founded in 2022 by Ritesh Singh Chandel, Sonu Kumar, and mathematics educator Rushabh Kothari, Arivihan is focused on making quality education more accessible to students beyond India’s major cities. The startup combines artificial intelligence, interactive learning, and vernacular content to deliver personalised academic support for students preparing for school and competitive examinations.

With the newly raised capital, Arivihan plans to expand into additional states and enter the CBSE education segment. The company also intends to invest further in its AI capabilities and expand its vernacular learning offerings, aiming to make digital education more relevant and accessible for students from diverse linguistic and geographical backgrounds.

Arivihan’s platform offers AI-driven study plans, interactive lessons, and instant doubt-solving, enabling students to access personalised academic assistance through a digital-first experience. Its technology helps learners identify areas for improvement and receive targeted support as they progress through their studies.

A notable aspect of Arivihan’s user base is its strong presence in Tier III cities and rural India. According to the company, approximately 80% of its subscribers come from these markets, highlighting the growing demand for affordable and technology-enabled learning solutions outside traditional urban education hubs.
