DrinkPrime Raises ₹20 Crore at ₹340 Crore Valuation to Accelerate Growth in Smart Water Purifier Market
Bengaluru-based IoT-enabled water purifier startup DrinkPrime has raised ₹20 crore in fresh funding from Artha Venture Fund and Mirabilis Investment Trust, marking another important milestone in the company’s growth journey. The investment was made at a 30% valuation premium, pushing the startup’s valuation to approximately ₹340 crore.
DrinkPrime operates a subscription-based model for smart water purifiers, offering customers an affordable and flexible alternative to purchasing expensive purification systems outright. The company leverages Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor purifier performance in real time and ensure consistent access to clean drinking water for households.

The latest funding round reflects strong investor confidence in the company’s business model and the growing demand for technology-driven consumer appliance solutions in India. With increasing awareness around water quality and health, more consumers are turning to smart purification systems that provide reliability, convenience, and transparent usage tracking.
DrinkPrime has demonstrated strong financial growth, reporting ₹72.13 crore in revenue for FY25, highlighting the rapid adoption of its subscription-based purification services. The company’s model allows users to pay a monthly subscription fee, which covers the purifier device, maintenance, and filter replacements. This eliminates the high upfront cost typically associated with water purification systems.

The newly raised capital will help DrinkPrime further scale its operations, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and expand its presence across new markets in India. The company is also expected to invest in improving its IoT-enabled monitoring capabilities, enabling smarter predictive maintenance and better customer experience.
DrinkPrime’s platform uses real-time data to monitor filter health, water consumption, and purifier performance, ensuring that customers receive timely service and uninterrupted access to safe drinking water. This technology-driven approach has allowed the startup to build a loyal customer base within the fast-growing direct-to-consumer (D2C) appliance segment.

India’s consumer appliance market is undergoing rapid transformation, with digital-first brands introducing subscription models, smart devices, and service-driven experiences. DrinkPrime has positioned itself at the intersection of these trends by combining hardware, IoT technology, and subscription services into a single platform.
Investors believe that solutions focused on essential household utilities such as clean drinking water have immense long-term potential, especially when supported by scalable technology infrastructure.
With fresh funding, rising revenue, and strong demand for smart home solutions, DrinkPrime is well-positioned to continue expanding its footprint and strengthening its position as a leading IoT-powered water purifier subscription platform in India’s evolving consumer appliance ecosystem.
