Factrika Raises ₹8.9 Crore Seed Round Led by Info Edge to Expand Industrial Workforce Platform

Industrial workforce technology startup Factrika has raised ₹8.9 crore in a Seed funding round led by Info Edge, marking a significant step in the company’s efforts to strengthen its technology infrastructure, expand its team, and deepen its presence across key industrial clusters in India.

Founded in 2024 by Kshitij Puri and Gaurav Asthana, Factrika is building a technology-enabled platform that connects manufacturers with verified workers based on their skills and availability. The platform aims to address one of the critical challenges faced by India’s manufacturing sector: finding and deploying suitable workers quickly when businesses need them.

According to the company, Factrika enables manufacturers to identify and deploy workers within two hours, helping businesses respond more efficiently to workforce requirements. The platform currently has more than 10,000 registered workers across 20+ skill categories and reports a 90%+ show rate.

The newly raised capital will be used to further develop Factrika’s technology, expand its team, and increase its footprint across major industrial and manufacturing clusters. The company plans to expand its operations across Bhiwadi, Manesar, Bawal, Noida and Bahadurgarh, strengthening its ability to serve manufacturers operating in these industrial hubs.

India’s manufacturing ecosystem relies heavily on a large and diverse workforce across factories, warehouses, production facilities and other industrial operations. However, businesses can face challenges in sourcing workers with the right skills and availability at short notice. Factrika is attempting to address this gap through a more organised, technology-led workforce discovery and deployment model.

By matching workers according to skills and availability, the platform seeks to make industrial hiring more responsive while creating additional opportunities for workers looking for relevant employment.

The company is targeting what it describes as India’s $23 billion manufacturing workforce opportunity, positioning itself at the intersection of industrial employment and technology.

The participation of Info Edge in Factrika’s Seed round provides additional backing as the startup enters its next phase of expansion. The fresh capital will allow the company to invest in product development, strengthen its operational capabilities and build a larger network across manufacturing-intensive regions.

For Factrika, the latest funding marks the beginning of a broader expansion strategy. As the company grows its worker network and geographic presence, its focus will remain on using technology to make workforce discovery and deployment faster and more efficient for India’s manufacturing businesses.

With more than 10,000 registered workers, coverage across 20+ skill categories and plans to expand across several major industrial clusters, Factrika is looking to build a scalable technology platform for India’s evolving industrial workforce.
