Mannlich Raises Seed Funding to Strengthen R&D and Build a Premium Grooming Brand
Direct-to-consumer (D2C) grooming startup Mannlich has raised $294,000 in a seed funding round led by BeyondSeed. The round also witnessed participation from Chandigarh Angels Network, Signal Ventures, Growth Sense, and Growth91, along with notable angel investors such as Arjun Vaidya, Arush Chopra, Megha Sabhlok, and Gaurav Kumar.
The fresh funding will enable Mannlich to accelerate its research and development efforts and strengthen its internal capabilities, particularly in product innovation and brand building. As the men’s grooming segment in India continues to evolve, the company is focused on creating high-quality, performance-driven products tailored to modern consumer needs.

Operating in the rapidly growing D2C ecosystem, Mannlich aims to differentiate itself through a science-backed approach to grooming. The brand is investing in developing formulations that are not only effective but also aligned with changing consumer expectations around ingredients, product performance, and overall experience.
A significant portion of the capital will be deployed towards building a strong R&D team, allowing the company to innovate faster and bring new products to market. In addition, Mannlich plans to expand its branding and marketing efforts to establish a distinct identity in a highly competitive space.
The Indian grooming market, particularly for men, has seen a shift in recent years with increasing awareness around personal care, skincare routines, and premium grooming products. Consumers today are more informed and are actively seeking brands that offer transparency, quality, and targeted solutions.

Mannlich is positioning itself to tap into this demand by focusing on product efficacy and brand storytelling, two critical factors for success in the D2C landscape. By building a strong connection with its audience and delivering consistent product quality, the company aims to create long-term customer loyalty.
The participation of experienced D2C founders and investors like Arjun Vaidya adds strategic value beyond capital, bringing in expertise in scaling consumer brands and navigating the competitive digital-first market.
With fresh funding, a clear focus on innovation, and a growing team, Mannlich is well-positioned to expand its footprint in India’s grooming segment. As it continues to invest in R&D and branding, the startup aims to establish itself as a trusted and premium grooming brand for the modern Indian consumer.
