Turiyam.ai Raises $4 Million Pre-Seed to Build Next-Gen AI Inference Infrastructure
Bengaluru-based deeptech startup Turiyam.ai has raised $4 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Ankur Capital and Axilor Micelio Fund. The fresh capital marks a significant early validation for the startup’s ambitious vision to re-architect how AI systems are deployed and scaled in real-world environments.
Founded in 2024 by Sanchayan Sinha, Parag Jain, and Praveen Jain, Turiyam.ai is building a full-stack AI compute infrastructure platform focused on inference. On this critical stage, trained AI models are executed in real time to power enterprise applications, products, and services.
While much of the global AI race has centered on training ever-larger models, Turiyam.ai is addressing a fast-emerging bottleneck: the cost, latency, and energy intensity of deploying AI at scale. As enterprises move from experimentation to production, inference workloads are exploding across data centres, edge devices, and industry-specific deployments. Turiyam.ai’s platform aims to make this transition more efficient, sustainable, and commercially viable.

At the core of the startup’s approach is a hardware–software co-design strategy that tightly integrates compute hardware, system software, and AI runtime optimization. This allows enterprises to significantly reduce energy consumption and operational costs while maintaining high performance for real-time AI use cases such as vision systems, speech interfaces, predictive analytics, and autonomous decision-making.
The newly raised capital will be used to accelerate product development, expand the company’s research and engineering teams, and support early commercial deployments across India and select international markets. Turiyam.ai is already engaging with enterprise customers and infrastructure partners who are seeking alternatives to power-hungry, GPU-heavy inference stacks.

The funding comes at a time when India’s AI ecosystem is gaining rapid momentum. According to industry estimates, the Indian AI market is projected to exceed $17 billion by 2030, driven by adoption across sectors such as manufacturing, fintech, healthcare, logistics, and smart infrastructure. As AI moves deeper into mission-critical operations, demand for cost-efficient and energy-aware compute platforms is expected to surge.
Investors backing Turiyam.ai see inference as the next frontier of AI infrastructure innovation. By focusing on deployment rather than training, the startup is positioning itself at the intersection of scalability, sustainability, and enterprise readiness.

With strong early backing and a clear technological focus, Turiyam.ai aims to become a foundational layer in India’s AI infrastructure stack, enabling enterprises to run intelligent systems at scale without the prohibitive costs traditionally associated with AI compute.
