Betterhood Raises ₹5 Crore in Seed Funding to Advance Preventive Musculoskeletal Health Solutions
Bengaluru-based healthtech startup betterhood™️ has raised ₹5 crore in seed funding in a round led by Kairon Capital. The fresh capital will support the company’s efforts to develop innovative health solutions focused on preventive musculoskeletal care, a segment gaining increasing attention as lifestyle-related health issues rise across India.
Founded by Vikram Kadam and Neha Zade, Betterhood aims to help people take a proactive approach to physical health, particularly in addressing posture-related issues, joint pain, and musculoskeletal discomfort that commonly arise from sedentary lifestyles, long working hours, and excessive screen usage.

Musculoskeletal disorders have become a growing concern globally, especially among professionals who spend extended hours working on computers or using mobile devices. Poor posture, repetitive strain, and lack of ergonomic support often lead to chronic pain and long-term health complications. Recognizing this gap, Betterhood focuses on creating preventive health products that help individuals maintain better posture and reduce the risk of physical strain.
The startup offers a range of solutions, including posture support products, orthotics, and pain relief devices designed to improve body alignment and reduce discomfort during daily activities. By combining medical insights with consumer-friendly design, Betterhood aims to make preventive healthcare more accessible and practical for everyday use.

With the newly raised funding, the company plans to accelerate product development, enabling it to introduce new solutions tailored to different consumer needs. The startup also intends to expand its team, particularly in areas such as product innovation, research, marketing, and distribution.
Another key focus area will be strengthening the company’s distribution network, ensuring that its products are available to a wider audience across both online and offline channels. By expanding its reach, Betterhood aims to make preventive musculoskeletal care solutions more accessible to consumers across India.
The founders believe that preventive healthcare is still an underdeveloped segment in India, where many individuals seek treatment only after experiencing significant pain or health complications. Betterhood’s mission is to shift consumer behavior from reactive treatment to proactive health management, encouraging people to address posture and mobility issues early.

Investors see strong potential in the startup’s approach as awareness around ergonomic health, workplace wellness, and preventive care continues to grow. As more people prioritize long-term health and well-being, solutions that promote daily physical care are becoming increasingly relevant.
With fresh funding, a clear mission, and a growing product portfolio, Betterhood is positioning itself as a key player in India’s emerging preventive health and wellness market, helping individuals build healthier habits and maintain better physical wellbeing in their daily lives.
